I have a question about entering Austria with long semi-auto registered in another EU country, registered also in EU-feuerwaffenpass issued by another EU country.
My understanding is that "white-listed" HAs can be taken to Austria (fulfilling all conditions, of course).
But what about all the other models?
Does the "not evaluated" mean banned to enter Austria with EU-feuerwaffenschein?

You have to get a permit from the local authorities as well, unless you qualify as a hunter or sportshooter, with a specific event as reason for your trip. You are allowed to bring 3 guns registered in the EU-firearms document.
You are allowed to bring anything that isn't considered Kat-A as far as I'm aware.

I understand standard waffenpass regime, I use it for FFW.
What was not clear to me is how are long-semiautos considered for the purpose of EU-FWP, whether only white-listed ones can be taken to austria for sport event.

if a specific gun listed in your EU-Firearms Document is not allowed to bring to Austria or to some other country, this HAS TO BE marked in your EU-Firearms Document in a special section forseen for this (go take a look on your document, this section is easy to find).
ALL EU-Countries are obliged to inform ALL other countries whether some special kinds of guns are restricted in their countries or not.
If there is no referring input in your document, its legal for you to take it with you.
To you find a opportuny to use it somewhere is another question.

This is very interesting information.
@d-s: Some long guns are white-listed, some long guns are black listed, but there is no comprehensive up-to-date list available. The result of evaluations is not made public but only send to the person who initiated the evaluation. Guns which haven't been evaluated, might or might not be legal, nobody knows until an evaluation is done. Bringing such a gun into Austria is a huge risk, I personally wouldn't do it and I would not recommend doing it.

A friend of mine from Germoney was in the same situation a while ago.
The problem is, that the law is somewhat contradictory.
As GSchoenbauer wrote, if a gun is in your EUFWP and there is no special remark that you are not allowed to bring it to i.e. Austria, you can take it with you (in theory). But on the other hand that gun can be a cat. A firearm and therefore be illigal in Austria (without special permit).
So, since in some cases, Austria failed to inform other countries that specific firearms are not allowed here there is a direct contradiction between those legal aspects.
