Put a deposit down on an original 1858 Remington .44 this weekend, and picked up this cute thing.

Inletting is excellent, but someone never finished it, and it needs reparkerized. For $80, I said yes.

Heh, you know Carcano and cute is quite the oxymoron.

A friend and I worked on some AKs today. I forgot the trigger guard for the one, so it will follow later. The underfolder has had the barrel pulled and replaced 3 times, and hopefully is properly timed now. Those receivers started as flat stock, and have been fully heat treated.

Hopkins and Allen .32 rimfire, 1880s

Cheap cassette case becomes stealth gun case

In America, this is called a goose gun. It's an anti-aircraft gun for waterfowl.

Previous shot of my revolver collection. Three added since:

My daughter pimping our new shirt

And a Danish crossbow

The number places it in 1898, so it's also exempt from the Gun Control Act ("Firearms" are defined as being made in 1899 or later).
