Aimpoint hat endlich mal wieder ein neues Produkt produziert: das Aimpoint Nano Sight.
Kleiner als das Micro, aber hoffentlich von gewohnter Aimpoint Qualität. Der Wermutstropfen: es sieht so aus als ob das Sight exklusiv für die B&T USW entwickelt wurde und nur gemeinsam mit der Waffe von B&T verfügbar sein wird.

Das ist Geschmackssache. Ich habe da schon Schlimmeres gesehen. Bei Aimpoint weiß man wenigstens wie man qualitativ dran ist.

Our contact did hint at the possibility to develop the internals into a commercially available MRDS at some point, but that is a long way off. Aimpoint did confirm that the Nano is very close in size to the currently available MRDS on the market but with a much better run time. They also stated that the Nano has a 3.5 MOA dot that is adjustable for brightness, but as the Nano is only a working prototype that is being evaluated to ensure that 3.5 MOA is the optimal size.
Questions have been asked about how the Nano mounts to the USW, whether it screws in from the top or the bottom. Aimpoint was not able to go into detail about the mounting system but did state that the Nano mounting screws enter from the top of the sight. They also spoke briefly about the battery that is being used, they were able to confirm that the Nano is using a CR 1225 button cell

Bin gerade beim Durchblättern darüber gestolpert. In der aktuellen Juli-Ausgabe des DWJ findet sich ein Artikel über die B&T USW.
Das Aimpoint Nano wird aber nur am Rande erwähnt.

Vorerst von Aimpoint nicht als stand-alone geplant, wenns neue Infos von Aimpoint gibt, sag ich bescheid. Wär selbst schon länger scharf auf das Teil.

Ich bezweifelte anfangs schon, dass so viele USW verkauft werden, dass sich damit die Entwicklung des Nano rechtfertigt oder gar rechnet.
Gleich wie die 19X, die für das MHS entwickelt wurde (nur halt mit manueller Sicherung).

USW? Unable to Shoot a Weapon?
Das Nano mit einem 4 MOA Punkt dürfte damit nur für Kurzwaffen gedacht sein, oder gibt's 2 MOA auch?

Auf der B&T USW dürfte das Nano vom Verschluss entkoppelt sein, interessant dazu ist dieser Satz bei B&T:
"Bei Montage auf Pistolenschlitten oder anderen beweglichen Teilen erlischt die Garantie."
Das Acro dürfte speziell für Pistolen entwickelt sein und wurde mit 20.000 Schuss Kaliber .40 S&W gestestet.

scheinbar gibt es das standalone Nano auch nur über B&T Wiederverkäufer...
mit dem Acro als "Gen 2" am Horizont (hatte ich komplett vergessen) kann man da schon Vermutungen anstellen, warum die Nanos nun separat verkauft werden.
Aimpoints Acro Werbebilder zeigen ja auch gern die USW (beachte auch den gleichen Dovetail wie fürs Nano)...
Mit dem Gewährleistungsausschluss bei Schlittenmontage wohl eine schlechte Investition. zudem listet Poltec das Acro mit 100€ weniger...
@coolhand: nope ist nur als Backup oder für Kurzwaffe gedacht, das Acro ist auch nur mit 3.5moa angekündigt

Das Aimpoint ist so oder so viel zu nahe am Auge des Schützen. Mich würde interessieren, wieviele USW wirklich verkauft wurden.
