Schulz and Larsen

I apologize for being gone so long. It's been busy. The rifle was in my friend's collection. He died three years ago. It had no stock and had never been shot. We think the engraving was done in Germany. It looks German, and he was a USAF navigator flying out of Germany in the 1970s. We had the stock made in the US. It's tiger pattern Myrtle wood.

It's very pretty, but I'm not a fan of the mechanism.

I'll post some others. My very lovely wife collects classic shotguns.

My father was a gun engraver.
Perhaps a few of his works can also be found in Texas or the rest of the USA

Lots of European engraved guns wind up here, including the Austrian and Bavarian Forest Police's guns, once they were sold surplus.
