Along with getting into the AR furniture game, BLACKHAWK! is now adding rifle optics to their firearm accessory line. The new BLACKHAWK! tactical riflescopes sport a lot of the features tactical shooters are looking for in an optic these days such as a front focal plane reticule and a side paralax adjustment. Along with some of those must haves on a scope, the BLACKHAWK! rifle scopes have exposed turrets for quick adjustments and a “return-to-zero” capability, which I would assume to be some sort of zero-stop. The exterior multi-coated lenses have an “extra hard coating” to protect against scratches and the scopes themselves are waterproof, shockproof, and fogproof.

The BLACKHAWK! riflescopes seem to share the same features and price range as the Burris XTRs and Vortex Viper PSTs. I’ve had some experience with both these lines of scopes and I would be interested in seeing if the new BLACKHAWK! scopes measure up. The only thing that would concern me somewhat is that unlike the Burris XTRs and Vortex scopes, the BLACKHAWK! scopes are not made in the USA, they are “imported;” from where, I don’t know.
